Modernize and fulfil the needs of several different users

Plan International Sverige wanted to create a digital version of its traditional financial report, the Yearbook. It contains both the financial report with statistics and numbers and chosen stories to highlight important issues and Plans activities related to them. The target group for the Yearbook is scattered, lawyers, journalists, volunteers and various interest groups.

The challenge was to create a product that fulfilled all of their needs and made it easy to find the specific information a visitor was looking for. The solution had to work on all possible devices and should not be confused with the rest of the content on the site.

An individual product that elevates the content

Based on Plan’s graphical identity Britny created an individual product that felt like a separate reportage divided in three different sections: An overview of the Year that passed, a section with Articles that covered issues and Plan’s activities and a section for the Financial report. A lot of focus was put on creating a clear structure, the possibility to choose what you wanted to explore and appealing and easy accessible presentation of the content. The Yearbook can easily be updated year after year.
