After 30 years in Sweden, Kandia, an African woman in her fifties decides to move back to Gambia. Her son Ibbe is just about to have his big break in the Swedish hip-hop scene, but as his mom is leaving he decides to follow her. They soon realize that going to their home country did not turn out as expected.
