Innovating a new service for KLM

Journeys of inspiration

In 2012 KLM invited Britny to find a new way of packaging their offers and prices, engage modern travel enthusiats, and add on to KLM’s theme “journeys of inspiration”. The main challenge was to breach throught the intense advertising buzz of the airline industry and create something that differentiated KLM from their competitors, and that was genuinely appealing to the modern travelling audience.

The online travel community is huge

The online travel community is huge It’s been there since the beginning of the internet as we know it. Throughout the years it has created some of the biggest, most engaging, social and vibrant online platforms that exist. Yelp. Foursquare. Trip Advisor. These are just a few. Whether we want suggestions, weather reports, travel guides or plane tickets, there is a smart service there to help us out.

However: A lot of great services = A lot of open browser tabs. It’s hard to get a compete overview of what they are saying about the different destinations, and what their users are saying.

Mark the stuff you like the most to create personal lists of favourites, to save for yourself, or to share with others. Since all content is generated by other API’s, My Dream Catcher stays alive and relevant all year long, without any manual updates.
