Modernization needed on all fronts
Plan Sweden is part of Plan International, one of the oldest and largest children’s development organisations in the world, working in more than 60 countries. Plan is politically and religiously independent, and all of their work presupposes from the United Nation’s convention on the Rights of the Child. In 2014 Plan was present in 86 676 local communitys where a total of 81 million children lives. Plan Sweden has a distinct ambition to grow their fundraising digitally, making their own website an important channel that needed analysis and optimisation for increased conversion, as well as a complete redesign to be modernized alongside the brand.
Based on this, Plan announced a pitch in 2014 where Britny won the project.
Create concept and strategy for how the new website can increase engagement that leads to better conversion.
Design and implement a new, responsive web site in a new CMS that is appropriate for Plan’s needs.
Connect the new website both with Plan’s web shop and their membership system.
Become a long term digital partner for Plan Sverige: both in supporting them with the web site, as well as new initiatives such as campaigns.
Thorough analysis and evaluation of the existing website and statistics, with the purpose to find flaws and potential i user journeys and conversion.
Workshops with the purpose to get to know the organisation, their challenges, their users and their user’s behaviours, on a deeper level.
